Greater Things - God's Vision for GV Christian Everything planned for GVChristian is centered around the four areas of focus placed on the hearts of our leadership: 1) Serving the Body of Believers 2) Offering Christian Education 3) Reaching the Unchurched 4) Supporting Global Ministries A new building campaign will clearly support all four areas above. By expanding the church and school, we will serve the body and students, and then subsequently reach the unchurched and our missions endeavors. |
| Ministry space is rapidly dwindling Children’s Ministries, Youth Ministries, Celebrate Recovery, and Growth Groups are out of space to add classes. The church offices are at full capacity, with an associate even using the Family Room as an office. We are unable to offer Saturday weddings because of use of space and clearly lack separate area for ceremonies. The school space is limited in order to remain competitive in the market. We want GV Christian School to have the most encouraging environment in the city. The school doesn’t have a gym, which limits physical education and sports offerings. Every grade has a waiting list for enrollment and families “camp out” the night before registration to insure a place for their child here since classrooms are full. Greater Things - Are you Ready? If a church is at 80% capacity studies show new visitors have a tendency to leave. You shouldn't wait until you're out of space to start a building campaign. GVChristian has expanded every service: 3 Worship Live 2 Traditions 2 FIX options Space is limited in all of these venues |
