Kids Inc. - Yard Sale
Kids Inc. will be having a yard sale Friday, February 12th and Saturday, February 13th from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm. The yard sale will be held at Pastor Brian's house, 2351 Valleywood Street, Henderson, NV 89014. All proceeds will go to buy backpacks for children in China. If you have items you would like to donate please contact Pastor Brian at 454-2722. |
GV Women - Women's Breakfast
GV Women are having their next breakfast on Saturday, February 20th, at 9:00 am as we discover Jesus' love. Come fellowship, worship and enjoy a fabulous breakfast. Sign up at the Box Office. If you buy your tickets in advance they are $5 or they are $6 at the door. Childcare must be paid in advance and is $1 per child. |
Pastor's Dessert
If you started attending GV Christian Center for the first time over the past three months, we would like to invite you to Pastor Gary & Meg's house for dessert on Monday, February 22nd, at 6:30 pm. Discovery
Our next Discovery class will be Saturday, February 27th, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Discovery class is a basic introduction to the GV Christian Center church family. Realizing that God brings people from a variety of church backgrounds to our doors, we have designed this class to familiarize you with the history and philosophy of GV Christian Center. Completion of this class is a pre-requisite for church membership. Please sign up at the Box Office or log onto our website to attend the next class. |
Growing Kids God's Way
The new spring semester has begun!Growing Kids God's Way is a biblical parenting class that deals with the challenges of raising a child in the way he or she should go without losing your sanity in the process. Whether single, married, a grandparent or part of a blended family, Growing Kids God's Way gives you the tools you need. Join us on Sundays at 4:00 pm in the Worship Center. Child care is available, but please be sure to bring a sack dinner for each child. Sign up at the Growth Center. |
Divorce Care
Find help and healing for the hurt of separation or divorce. Divorce Care is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. It meets Thursdays at 6:30 pm in the Family Room and is led by Kathleen Miller, MFT Intern. Revolution
Revolution is back, for all students in 6th grade to 12th grade. It meets on Tuesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Worship Center and goes through May. It is a great time for all students to participate in worship, prayer, games and small group teaching. You won't want to miss these life changing evenings. |
Celebration Station
Celebration Station is for kids five to twelve years old. Every Friday night while adults explore topics that bring healing and wholeness, kids discover the same truths in age-appropriate ways. It is designed to inspire kids with hope, joy and happiness while they learn to rely on God, making Jesus the enduring, rock solid foundation of their lives. Celebration Station meets Friday at 7pm and there is an optional dinner at 6:15 pm. |
Berean School of the Bible
Whether God has called you to minister from the pulpit, in the classroom, the hospital or in the home, Berean School of the Bible has the courses you need to improve your understanding of God's Word. These inspirational, practical courses are ideal for personal enrichment too. Call 454-2722 for more information. |

GV Christian Center is now an established charity with GoodSearch. GoodSearch donates 50% of its revenue and it doesn't cost you a thing! All you need to do is make www.goodsearch.com your homepage and your choice search engine. Once you enter the page, set Green Valley Christian Center as your charity of choice. Every time you search the web, GV Christian Center will earn one penny. Ten percent will go to Missions and the remaining amount will go to the GV4 fund.
